T-Ball is the starter league for the children. The T-Ball players are age 5 or first year 6 year olds and the league is co-ed comprised of boys and girls. These children are taught the most basic skills necessary for their baseball development. The location and names of the positions can be a reach for T-Ballers. The league takes its name from the batting Tees used to hit from. During the course of the season, the coaches will begin to throw easy pitches to the children. The season runs from mid-April to early June. Practices will begin towards the end of March. Teams usually play one game during the week in the evening and another on Saturday between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. All T-Ball Games are held at the Monument Avenue T-Ball field behind the Tennis Courts.
