CVLL participates in LL Baseball’s Training and Development Program, otherwise known as Fall Ball. In this program players participate in the league that they will be eligible for the following year. It is an opportunity to get a jump-start on the new rules and to practice at a higher level. For some players, it is an extension of the season in which they just participated. The player’s primary residence MUST be within the boundaries of either Malvern Borough or Willistown Township.
Softball
There is a Major Softball Program for those girls who will be age 9 to 12 by December 31, 2010. The Junior Program is for players who will be 13 to 15 by December 31, 2010. The Softball Program consists of inter-league and intra-league play.
Baseball
Baseball players who wish to participate in Fall Ball are eligible if they reach the age of 9 to 12 by April 30, 2011. There will be a 9-10 year old league and a 11-12 year old league. The Junior League consists of boys who have reached the age of 13 to 14 by April 30, 2010. These teams also play inter-league and intra-league games.
